Off at Easter

I’m holiday for two weeks while its easter and I thought I would try to get some more modeling done to build on my portfolio. Had a great but very cold shoot on tuesday with a fantastic photographer Vicky who found a brilliant location just outside of St Helens, and even better I got to work at last with my mate who has just become a make-up artist.

Yesterday was my second shoot of the week with Kinga, being still in high school I was very impressed by her level of talent at such a young age. She found a great location and thought up a brilliant yet simple theme, classic white shirt hat combo, but with an edgy twist of jeans, heels and a leather jacket, topped off with brilliant make up. I am very looking forward to seeing the result when the photos have been edited which hopefully wont be too long.

I will get the photos up as soon as I get my hands on them so keep an eye out.

Four Weeks In

So its been a while since i’ve posted, but it’s is now four weeks in to the tour and its going great, the show is doing fantastic and going down well. M&M theatrical productions are a really good company to work for, they are currently the best childrens touring company in the UK, and they currently have somewhere around 11 tours on the road, covering the whole of the UK.

Were fortunate to have only been in the north so far which means little travel to do on saturdays, currently covered Lancashire, Newcastle and Doncaster. However through the tour we travel to the very top of Scotland and also as far back down as Bournemouth. Its been a great way to see the country.

Playing Oliver has been very bizarre to begin with, but the role is fantastic, so much fun to be had with the dances and the songs, and it’s certainly keeping me fit running around everywhere.

Just Over a Week to Go

Been organising everything for the tour, been a bit of a nightmare however is finally all sorted so taking the time to see people before I go. It’s all getting very real now and getting very nervous about it but its gonna to be a great opportunity and getting me on the first step in my career.

I also had a great meeting on thursday to talk about shooting book covers, it’s a great opportunity with lots of shoots involved so very much looking forward to starting.

Two Weeks Tomorrow

So busy times, I leave for Scotland two weeks tomorrow and have a meeting for another shoot tomorrow. Very excited for the tour but nerves are starting to kick in, however I know its going to be an amazing experience.

I am thinking of still doing modeling on some of my days off and will be back at Easter for two weeks so will have plenty of time them. Will try and keep where I am up to date, so you know if I’m in the area to give me a shout. Don’t forget I am on twitter and facebook so can follow me on there.

In the mean time I am getting very confused by my tax and what to do now that I am self employed, so if anyone has any advice please let me know.

Going to be Oliver

Had the news on Monday that I was offered a place to join M&M productions, who tour the schools in the Uk performing various classic stories. I was orignally gonna be in The Little Princess, however I have had a phone call this morning to tell me that I am moving cast and going to be Oliver, so very excited to start cannot wait.

Will updated on here what I get up to, its gonna to be an amazing time.

Perform 2012

So been looking into Perform 2012, a performers event that takes place once a year in London, a career and training insight to most aspects within theatre, wanted to go last year but hopefully this year I can make it. It features industry professional with stalls and providing workshop at only £3 (in advance). Theres even the chance to perform yourself this year. Very much looking forward to the fact that there is gonna be some great insight in to musical theatre which I have found had to come by in Manchester, thinking its gonna be very worth while.

Busy Week

So got a busy week ahead, another shoot on thursday so hopefully more pictures to follow soon, and an my first audition on friday for a childrens tour, which I am very much looking forward to.
